Praise Singers – These talented individuals of all ages serve as the song leaders for worship. Singing with either the Praise Band or simply piano, they provide support for the congregation during song. There are currently three praise teams, with each team singing at both the 9:00am and 11:00am services every three weeks. Rehearsals are on Wednesdays at 6:45pm. Praise Band – The praise band is made up of piano, electric keyboard, bass guitar, acoustic guitars (2), and drum set. Musicians of all ages are encouraged to become active with the Praise Band. The group plays at both the 9:00am and 11:00am services weekly, and rehearses at 6:00pm and with the Praise Singers at 6:45pm on Wednesdays. Chamber Ensemble – Musicians of all ages are encouraged to play with the chamber ensemble. Instrumentation is not limited to a set number, and anyone who plays an orchestral instrument is invited. The chamber ensemble plays periodically throughout the year, rehearsing the two weeks prior. Brass Ensemble – The brass ensemble is open to all brass players. The group rehearses the two Wednesdays prior to their scheduled Sunday to play. Guitar Ensemble – The guitar ensemble rehearses on the two Wednesdays prior to a scheduled performance. Rehearsals take place at 7:30pm. The guitar ensemble participates in worship throughout the year. This group is open to anyone who plays acoustic guitar and would like to contribute their talents to worship. Audio Technicians – Individuals are needed to serve as audio technicians for both the 9:00am and 11:00am worship services. Audio technicians are responsible for running the sound board, monitoring microphone levels, and maintaining balance throughout the service. Computer Operators – Spirit of Hope uses projection screens to enhance the worship service. Individuals with a desire to be active in worship and who enjoy computers are encouraged to participate as a computer operator. Do you enjoy welcoming others to your home? Do you have a knack for making others feel welcome? Are you concerned with making sure your guests have an enjoyable experience? If so, you have the gift of hospitality and we hope you will consider using your gift to welcome all to God’s home. The Hospitality Team consists of individuals that serve in a variety of ways during church services. Hospitality tasks include greeting worshipers at the door, distributing programs, collecting offering and serving communion. On average team members serve twice every other month.
